Hello all. My name is Gregg and I plan on attending/joining your club. I've been out for back surgery and haven't been able to drive yet but I have been working on my Emma C Berry (gaff master schooner). A brief history of the project... I completed a Sterling kit way back in 1979 and gave it to my daughter who left it behind when I got divorced. 5 years of work down the tubes. The kit was horrible, nothing fit correctly. I bought another kit on ebay this year and scanned all the pieces into cad and cut my own frames. I'm also cutting most of the hardware on the cnc router I built. Enjoy the pics, comments always welcome.

Skipper

Ps. Great the pics got posted out of sequence. Sorry

File comment: Some of the cabins. Yeah I'm building out of sequence but it keeps me from getting burnt out on one thing. Deck rail is glassed and waiting for it to dry so I can sand. I'll try and send some more pics today.

I made the side plates and keel plates out of 1/16" aluminum. Still waiting for the correct portholes to come in.Bulwarks and hull have been epoxied but need final sanding before paint.

Love this Krylon Fusion paint. Hull below waterline is red. Duh. Above waterline will be black and waterline itself white. Will be 7 days before paint is chip free so top will have to wait.

Well I blew it. I went to the Pond today to meet the members and didn't realize you left at 12:00. I won;t be able to make it again until the 2nd week of August.

What a great bunch of people your group is. Thoroughly enjoyed myself last Sunday. Got a chance to do a little more on the Emma. Looking forward to joining the club. I'll try and get a stand built for the next outing but she won't be ready for water yet.

Thanks for showing us some in-progress pictures!
Looks like it's coming along nicely. Hopefully you can sail it this season! :D

I finally got the sails done but they are only trial fitted. Hope to get them mounted this weekend. If I get the base built tomorrow I might be able to bring it to the pond on Sunday. Got a ton of trim left and still the bathtub float for the ballast. Looks like it might be in the water this season.
The UK store pimped me on the (2) ships wheels I bought so I made this one.
